Dropbox is literally a lifesaver for me. I was looking for a nice affordable way of sharing files with customers and friends with some security and control included. After my intense research and a Google search I found Dropbox (not to be confused with Soundcloud.com’s Dropbox).
I can now request customers to upload their tracks to my Dropbox Virtual Space which then synchronises to my own workstation instantly. Then once I have finished my work and processing I simply re-upload the final version to the Dropbox for my customers to pick up and download instantly. Simple.
A 2Gb account is free making it perfect for one off accounts of huge uploads from my customers. But you can purchase a larger account at such great price. I would recommend this to everyone who wants to share files across multiple computers and multiple users.
